The Love of My Life

To: My Knight in Shining Armor

Love all started on an old patio swing.

Lying underneath the stars in each others arms,

He told her his dreams of loving someone.

They barely met only a few days before,

And already she could tell he was the one.

Just something about him made her feel complete,

and without a care in the world.

As the night went on she grew sad,

For the next day this amazing man would be leaving.

They bid goodbye to each other,

Although both of them new goodbye was only a word.

The following day he heart was filled with sorrow,

For the man she had grown to love was on his way home.

The handsome soldier called her every chance he had,

Driving on lonely and bare paths made him miss her even more.

Every minute after that all she could think about,

Was him and when she would see the love she had lost.

Finally the day came,

Her prince was finally returning home to her.

She drove for what seemed like forever,

Until she reached her destination.

Running in to meet him,

All she could feel were butterflies in her tummy.

As she saw her love walking towards her,

She froze, it almost felt like time stood still.

He gave her a smile and a kiss,

She blushed because it was in the middle of an airport.

For three weeks the lovers were together,

Until her Romeo was once again leaving.

She then realized,

She wanted to be with him every second.

As summer grew to an end,

The two of them found themselves standing before each other,

Preparing to say their "I Dos".

She look right in to his eyes and said I will love till death may us part,

And as tears welled up in her eyes she place the ring that symbolized their love,

On his finger and just like that the two had now become one.

Day in and day out her love grows more and more,

She thinks to herself,

How did I find such an amazing man.

A man who is selfless.

A man who works hard to make sure he can take care of his wife.

A man who makes her heart melt every time she is near him.

A man who does everything in his power to give his family the world.

This man is and will forever be the love of my life.

Love always and forever,

Jess

(a story of Jessika and Travis).

Travis:

I love you more than words could ever express. You are my best friend. And you have given me our precious little boy. I don't know how I can ever repay you. You have truly changed my life and I will always be yours. I love you. And nothing will ever change that.

Our Little Bug

I was looking through all of the pictures that I have taken of Jason and I realized the I really don't have a cute picture of him wrapped up in his towel after bath time. So I couldn't help myself I just had to take some pictures. And like normal he loves to eat his hands. He loves shower time also. I have even heard a laugh out of him when I hold him in the water. I think we just might have a little swimmer on our hands. Jason, Travis and I are all doing well. Just ready for it to be summer. We haven't been up to much, just spending time together. I hope all is going well for everyone and love and miss you all very much.

Our Little Rugrat is 4 months

Wow I can't believe he is four months already. He is rolling over from back to front constantly. He hasn't quite yet figured out that he can roll back over or even roll across the room. The funny thing is that he is already getting up on his knees. He isn't to the rocking stage yet but he will get there. He is eating rice cereal now and probably by the time he is 5 months he will be eating baby food. Ha! It is so funny to watch though. He is also sleeping on his side and absolutely refuses to sleep on his belly. He gets me up just about every hour because he has rolled himself over on his tummy and can't go back to sleep. Other than that he talks all the time (more like screams and yells). He has even kinda started to giggle. He loves to bounce. And has now discovered how to press buttons. So anytime we have anything with buttons near him he will instantly reach for it. Other than that just living up here with about 5 feet of snow in our front yard and -60 degree weather. Gotta love living in minot. So all you people who say you love snow, you must have never been to minot in the winter. Hope all is well with everyone. Love and miss you all.
